About the Film

Poor Euphemia is stuck in bed while her careless parents wait for her to die. At least they had the insight to give her some toys — the animals who become her friends and accompany her to a new world.

About the Filmmaker

Cara Shatzman is a recent graduate from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she was a student of animation. She continues to make shorts when not running from killer whales or slumbering on a remote island, which must be devoid of killer whales. So check back soon for an update on her upcoming project: FIN'S TALE, about overcoming one's fear of killer whales. It is not an autobiographical film.
