NewsEuphemia will be screening in NYU's First Run Film Festival April 9th, 2010 at the Cantor Film Center, 36 East 8th Street. Join us for the "Comedy Central" block of the festival, featuring 6 shorts, "From parody to paranoia… ironic inversions of art and life." Euphemia will be screened with other undergraduate "in-competition" shorts, making it eligible for awards, including the Audience Award. Come cast your vote! Be sure to catch the other animated films being screened at the festival: Grettel Batoon's, award-winning short Seasons of Love (http://grettelbatoon.com/), Amanda DiNoto's Just So, Catherine Min's Dwell Time, Michael Healey's The Prune, Connie Chan's Ice Cream Man, Kelly Goeller's Cubes, Tristian Goik's The Birthday of the Infanta, and Ben Oviatt's Schizophora, screening throughout the festival from April 8th - 11th. |
